The Shingled design of the 210mm PERC Mono solar cells do not require a bus bar across the top of the cells, resulting in improved power conversion efficiency of the module. Shingled solar panels also have significantly reduced losses caused by shading. Shingled panels are also more resistant to failures caused by external forces and thermal expansion impacting the modules.
